On 20 April 2016, staff and students of the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies participated in the parade of the 2016 MSU Songkran festival. The parade started from the city shrine and ended at city campus of Mahasarakham University.

On 18-19 March 2016, the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies organized rehearsal for graduation ceremony. The event was made for graduates from academic year 2014-2015. Opening speech was given by Dr. Ponlakit Jitto, Vice Dean, Academic and Planning.

Big cleaning day event was held on 14 March 2016 as part of the Green Faculty Programme. Opening speech was given by Dr. Ponlakit Jitto, Vice Dean, Academic and Planning. Many staff and students joined the event to help clean and organize the faculty’s area.
